Foreman
Our foremen are the day to day team leaders on the job site. They are an essential connection between our customers and our team. They work hard to make sure that our jobs run smoothly and effectively. Foremen are responsible to keep the job on schedule, manage team members, and produce a quality finished product.
Responsibilities
Direct as well as construct, install, and repair projects, using Metal Stud Framer/Hanger/Finisher hand tools and power tools.
Follow architectural, structural, and Shop Drawings as well as contract specifications.
Prepare layout, using lasers, squares, chalk lines, etc.
Work in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.
Clean work areas and equipment to maintain a safe and organized job site.
Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, management, and customers.
Maintain and secure tools and equipment.
Maintain job schedule – complete job within budget and ensure job quality.
Complete and submit all required documentation.
Requirements
Substantial experience in either Metal Stud Framing/Hanging/Finishing in commercial construction.
Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the Zook Interiors trades.
Ability to communicate well with both management and crew.
Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, specifications, etc. required to complete the project.
Must have a valid photo license or State ID.
Must be approved by the insurance company to drive company vehicles.
